I'm going to Jolly Rogers this weekend. It will be my first appearance there since 1996. I will go down in the record books as being the first ambulance transport out of that place. By the way if you are ever injured at J.R., scream and kick if they try to transport you to the Cheshire medical center in Keene. At the first race J.R.'s ever held, I tweaked my leg sliding out around a corner and got my ankle caught in a rut. I felt everything in my knee snap. The JACK-ASSES at Cheshire Medical center told me that I strained some tendons, told me to use crutches for three days, and fitted me with an ace bandage. Two days later I went to see my surgeon in Boston, and he told me that my knee was cooked. Two surgeries and fifteen pins later I am back full force, except now the price of knee braces doesn't seem so outrageous. Insurance bought me a CTI 2 for my smoked leg, and I bought an EVS for my healthy leg. For anyone interested in going to J.R. this weekend, sign up is 7-9, it's $20 per class, $10 late charge, $10 gate fee. There is no membership required, just show up and clear the intimidator!
