VideoPack 4 and EIDE Drives

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I am a new user to VideoPack 4 and am already enjoying its advantages in regards to designing menus. Unfortunately, even after installing the driver pack, the program only recognizes SCSI drives. My PC only has an Sony EIDE drive. Does anyone know of a way to either make VideoPack compatible with EIDE drives as they say they are on their web page, or to be able to use the images you can create (.RAW format) with other programs such as NERO. I'm sure that I am not the only person with this problem. Thank you.

I am running EIDE drives and have not had a problem, I think it simply does not see your burner, NTI I think will handle the Raw files from it. What version is your VideoPack 4?

You need to go and find a driver for your burner from the CeQuadrat site without it you can only burn the RAW files - I changed burners and it took me two days to find a driver for the Sony burner I updated to.
