My incredibly stupid idea for making this forum more interesting

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Since it seems that many here want to censor others and vice versa, we could add a little life to this forum by making it more like the tv show Survivor.

That's right folks, we would hold a vote once every week and the winner would be thrown off this cyber-island and fed to the sharks.

My vote would go to that guy who posts the same thing over and over in the large letters.

and just what, pray tell is the difference between one or the majority "censoring"?

I VOTE FOR GETTING RID OF RUDE-MOUTH LITTLE SHITS LIKE BUTT NUGGET WHO CRITICIZE EVRYONE AND ADD NOTHING OF VALUE TO THIS FORUM. YOU ARE A FILTHY LITTLE STINKING NAZI CENSOR PIECE OF SHIT.

cpr -- nothing, but you must admit this forum is getting deadly dull. And, I must admit Butt Nugget's idea would certainly liven things up.

My observation is as follows. We all know Y2K is now over, and the people that suggest that this forum is not on its death bed suggest that it is now a place for interesting people with divergent view to meet and talk (or something like that). I'd like to see that happen.

Instead, it seems to have become the place where people post repetitive comments with little historical or entertainment value. And you, cpr seem to have become a prime offender in recent weeks. Why, I dont know. I agree with you regarding Y2K. After all, why do you think I chose the handle E.H. Porter; any true polly should know the answer to this one.

But, perhaps you could take a lesson from Andy Ray. A lot of people here dont like him. I must admit, that at times he seems to have twit tendencies. But, he only posts once a day, and his posts are generally short and well edited. I find many of them interesting and informative. The same is true of your better posts. But, at lot of the rest are just internet noise. They are so long, and so poorly edited, that they convey little of actual value.

If youre still interested in this forum, please make an effort to contribute. As a hard core polly myself (who spent the rollover in Cozumel, Mexico), Id really appreciate it.

I just figured out who the big text boy is: Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. They have very similar vocabularies.

I JUST FIGURED OUT WHO BUTT NUGGET IS. I THOUGHT HE DROWNED WHEN I FLUSHED THE TOILET, BUT HE STILL LIVES!

Trust me cpr, you are funnier. But, that's really not saying much.

LOL! YOU ARE DUMB, GIB. YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL "TEXT" BACKWARDS! IT IS "TXET". BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, DUMMY.

Hawk, are you the Big Text man?

-- Ra (tion@l.1), July 12, 2000.

I don't think he is.

-- (hmm@hmm.hmm), July 12, 2000.

I think that big text/little weenie is the same boy who posted at TB2000 as aa@aa or something like that. Similar styles, low IQ, poor vocabulary.
