NESC

Hi guy's and girl's! I would like to share some of my past racing expererence's with you. My daughter Nichol races NESC,some NEMA, and JR's pirate races. We have been racing with NESC for some 5 yrs. I have been involved in some type of racing for over 20 years now. From stock cars to dirtbikes. The problem I see for the main part is communication. Yes it does make quite a difference. When I was involved with Nascar there were driver's meetings at every race. They would explain rules, changes, etc. You also had a chance to speak to the officials. If you missed the drivers meetings you either didn't race or started at the back of the pack. NO Questions! We could also get in touch with track and Nascar people. Try that with NESC. Send a fax or mail something and see if you get an answer. I tried once when Andy was running the show. Guess what? no answer. I had to track him down at the races for a simple question. It seems that NESC has gotten too large for the amount of people they have running it. I can tell you from past experence's that butting heads won't work. I would like to leave you with a few thoughts. 1. We must be able to communicate with our organization. on and off the track. 2. I agree that we need more rider reps. 3. Riders meetings before the start of each race day. 4. Track owner's shuold'nt be on the board let alone the President. 5. More personel to run NESC 6. Track's should safe for all levels of skill. 7. Track's should not be changed without Notifying NESC, and allow enough practice time to get used to the changes. ( central village)Maybe save some injuries. 8. Concerning middleboro, Rider reps should have met with NESC official's, then the offical's should have met with the track personel.

But things aren't always that simple! I hope things can get straightened out soon. Or they will only get worse. Good luck.

See you at the races Steve Balboni/DAD to Nichol #49y
