Confused???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : New England Motocross Racing : One Thread

I am confused. what is the difference between NESC races and NEMA races??? Are they both Motocross races or are they different??? also how old do you have to be to ride the 125 class. I'm 12 and have an 86 kx with a lot of brand new parts. almost mint cond. but i don't know if i'm old enough to race it. my birthday is 8/7/87. Any advice would be appreciated.

you can race the 125 class at any age... and it doesnt matter what year your bike is

Matthew,

Check out the NEMA web page, http//nemamx.com. the whole rule book is on-line with the classes and age groups. schedule etc.

NEMA is a youth racing club (mostly kids and some parents classes) NESC is geared more towards advanced riders and in is more expensive and you get less laps. NEMA has 125 A/B/C classes

If you decide to race with NEMA give me an email. my sister in law does sign-up and our friends do registration.

I guarantee you will have more fun at NEMA !

hope to see you there.
