monocular?

Any suggestions for a chimney finder / monocular viewer for a camera that has no fittings to accept such a thing (Galvin) that a) isn't huge and b) isn't expensive?

Maybe you could modify one of those Russian-made Horizon loupes? They are only about $60. They do seem to be of decent quality.

I seem to remember the fairly recent View Camera article on Gordon Hutchings included an illustration of his Galvin with just such a viewer modification. Perhaps he, or Jim Galvin, could point you in a promising direction.
