Lorusso wins big!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : New England Motocross Racing : One Thread

Tony Lorusso was back at the top of his game this past weekend at Bull Run. For his eight moto wins Tony went home with 1890. (that's one thousand eight hundred and ninety dollars!!!) and that doesn't include his Suzuki contingency money. Even the guy who could have gotten tenth in all the motos would have taken home a couple hundred bucks. Anyone know what Austin got for his 20th at the Red Bud national?

Ya.. I'll tell you what he got.. He got a good track to ride, good promoters and National exposure... Better than listening to Yvonne yelling at everyone and riding his boney, flat landing and muddy track!

Paul you seem to be confused,im trying to figure out which side your on?riders or NESC and owners .As of this moment I would have you two letters in favor of the NESC one letter supporting the riders .Please try to even the score.Back to austin, how can you not give him respect for finishing 20th in a national. Its not always about the money,if it was nobody would bother racing ,B.K. pays more. How about saying great job austin! NESC riders 2 1

Hold on everyone!! I don't think Paul was dissin' anyone! He was simply asking a question. I've known Paul for about 5 years now and I think he's a positive person. He's trying to get the talk back to racing instead of ragging. Paul, my wife and I enjoy your comments. Paul actually thinks about what he's writes before he sends it.

Paul's comment was, "Anyone know what Austin got for his 20th at the Red Bud national?" How is that an insult? I read it and thought, wow, Austin got 20th? That's great.

Leo, Austin getting a 20th at Red Bud is way cool and I was happy to see his name in the results on Monday morning. Why I mentioned him at all was to compare what a National paid and what Bull Run paid on the same weekend. Isn't Austin one of the riders who wants more money for the experts in New England? I posted what Tony made just to put some positive news up here.

Bull Run sucks the balls of a donkey. come and ride a real track. ride my track !

Tony wins way to much. Dont you all think that somebody else should win for once? Like candidus, squires, tread,or silva. I know i am sick of seing him win. Or maybe even Soucy should win ?

-- spank me (mxlover@aol.com), July 08, 2000.

Actually I would most likely rather to see Mike Treadwell win! I know he has the talent.

-- spank me (mxlover@aol.com), July 08, 2000.

i'm not just saying this because i am friends with him. but..TONY is defenitly the man... yea the rest of the experts are great..but dissin Tony would be like dissing McGrath...just because he wins..that would just be stupid peaCe
