Are you serious? Why would he race there if noone else in his class is going? He doesn't have anything to lose by not going, but would send a message to Norman if he didn't.. Hmmm, doesn't seem to make sense..

Okay, I think I missed something. I thought, and the key word here is thought, that Pat said he couldn't boycott any more races because his sponsors expect him to do well in the Championships? Is that correct? If it is, then he has nothing to lose by not going to Middleboro. However, if he stands to lose sponsorships becasue of this, then I think he's in a tough spot.. He has an obligation to them to race and try to win championships.. HWo knows? I dont know what Pat is obligated to do? Do you?

All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not him right now..

first of all, i hope this is untrue, but if it is, i find it hard to believe that any of pat's sponsors would consider penalizing him for not racing due to the circumstances. in fact i would assume that they would back him 100% in his decision to not race. after all, isn't his job as a supported rider to promote their products in a positive way? i think this would be negative publicity. also, what about the points that you would POSSIBLY make up on tread and snap? will you be proud of earning 2nd in the 250's, and having a chance at getting 2nd in the 125's? you've been friends with these guys for 20 years now, i can't believe that you'd jeopardize it by riding under these circumstances.

Jack is correct here,we need to stand together. If he rides ,the boycott and all our suspensions are for nothing.Tony lorusso has a much better deal with suzuki than pat,hes not riding.I feel his sponsor would agree with him if he chose not to ride,plus he will save alot of friends(if we are all friends).Do us a favor just dont race!
