New Tracks???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : New England Motocross Racing : One Thread

It's pretty obvious that NESC riders have had ebnough of racing at the same 4 tracks every weekend. Since there are only a few CV and Lewiston races it is basically Southwick and Middleboro every weekend, so what is NESC doing about getting new tracks for next year, it's obviously something that has to be done, because pretty soon there aren't going to be any riders left that are willing to spend their money and time to race NESC anymore!!

Hi Jeff, I know of at least one possible new track that a vet expert is trying to start (with the NESC's blessing) the only problem is the town, seems like when ever someone tries to get permits for motorcycle races the town fathers get pictures of Hell's Angels in their heads. Jolly Roger could run NESC races if Marco agreed not to run against the other NESC tracks, he could still run his own races on Saturday when there are no NESC races running, the way Southwick and Middleboro have to run their NEMA races and the guy in Thompson, CT could do the same thing. A track has never joined the NESC with 6 or 8 races in their first year. Bull Run, the newest NESC track ran one race their first year.

You have to admit the NESC has been run by closed minded older men its whole life, its about time that we get some young people with some new ideas in the picture, lets make this fun again.
