freedom of speech?

I thought it was our constitutional right to be able to voice an opinion. Why should we be threatend with the possibility of imprisonment for speaking out? The letter I received basicaly is telling me that I made a threat to someone and I am being penalized for something that is unsubstantiated. This sounds like slander and a possible civil suit. If we show up this weekend, who will claim that they were threatened? Can charges be pressed if there is nobody to press them? I don't know if it is one person or a group of people. This letter was the first I heard of it. If there are still more certified letters that have not been received, don't sign for them. If you sign, then you acknowledge receipt and you are accountable for your actions. If you never sign, then you were never notified. Will someone have an official word on the races this weekend. Thanks.
