I am a 31yr. old mother of 3 and am very interested in becoming a doula. I have been thinking of this for some time. I have been with a few of my sister in laws during their labor and delivery and also am a medical assistant(non working at the moment, stay home with my little guy). During all of my prgnancies and even when not pregnant I am reading up on labor, delivery, pregnancy, and have taught Lamaze to my neice and a sister in law, I kept my Lamaze book from my first pregnancy and really loved it. I feel birth is a wonderful, miraculous occassion and every woman should be able to experience the joy of it. I really feel so sorry for the women who have bad experiences or are not aware of or have the knowledge of what is going on and going to happen. I would like all the info I could get about being a doula, I am very interested and would like to learn all I can and become one. Please send info. Thank You. I live in Kentucky
