How wonderful to "meet" real neighbors on the forum!!!! Unfortunately,in my usual haphazard manner, I deleted both of your e-mail addresses..Max D. and Catherine W. please e-mail me again...Sorry to take up space on the forum with this personal message, but couldn't think of any other way to contact you !

Hey, I don't think I'm too far away from you either! I'm kind of between Gadsden and Birmingham!!! We have about 13 acres here.

Hey! We is pretty close, too. I suppose it depends upon your definition of "is"! We is still in Maine, and we is still livin' what we consider the good life, and we is willin' to share with you, whatever you is needin'! Hoping you is well, we wish you GL!

Hi! How nice to meet other folk who live close by. We aren't homesteading yet, but we're looking to buy land soon. We live in Ohatchee, AL.

Hey Brad....I keep telling you, Northeast Alabama is nearly identical to Maine, minus the SNOW...minus the blackflies..and folks say "Yes Ma'am instead of "Ahyah"....little tiny lobsters they call crayfish, and here, they can bury their dead in Winter..The BEST thing so far is that when you go to the supermarket, there are baggers who actually bag the groceries AND carry them out to your car AND refuse to accept tips because "IT'S OUR PLEASURE TO SERVE YOU"...died and gone to heaven...."Y'all" come on down and see us soon.
