My name is Tom O'Farrell. I don't race but my ten year old son Ryan and I attend many races during the season. We live in Rhode Island but make the trip to Central, Middleboro and Southwick on a regular basis. Travel time to these tracks ranges anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours but we go because we enjoy the sport and my son hopes to race someday. We pay the entry fee, spend money on food etc...If Middleboro and other tracks decide to ban certain riders, you can tell them they will also lose fan support. We won't be making the trips and supporting the tracks, riders and vendors if riders are banned. More money lost.

I received a letter telling me that I was banned from Middleboro like the other riders but the letter says that I threatened some riders. I did not do this so why do I have to be penalized? Is there any chance that I will be arrested this weekend? And if I am arrested, who will press and what charges will be brought against me? How can someone who I didn't threaten do this. Who is this person that will say I threatened him. This sounds illegal on thier part to accuse me of those charges. It sounds like they are slandering me. If I am prohibited from riding there for fear of the other riders being harmed, then for the safety of all the riders, the whole race should be cancled. They should not discriminate because people voice there opinions. Did they take all the expert riders who fowarded their entry to the 9th and assume that out of all of them, there was not one rider that might of had an engine problem or maybe an emergency where they were forced to foward their entry to the 9th.
