For those who did not venture to lewiston ,here is a copy of the letter that was passed out along with a sticker for the front fender.

Dear NESC Rider,

we are writing to convey to you the events that transpired last weekend were a backlash for years of oppressive irreverence by the NESC board and its tracks towards us,the riders.many took the incident for face value;a group of experts didn't want to race due to unsafe,substandard track conditions.In reality this was the catalyst for change.

Over the past 15 years we have seen our organization enter a downward spiral and plunge to the enigmatic state it is currently in.Why has this happened?Simply put there aren't the proper checks and balances.The NESC board is comprised of all the track owners and a couple of spineless indivduals.This group dictates who gets the race dates and how many.We the New Englnd Riders Coalition(NERC)can confirm at least two that expressed intrest in becoming part of the NESC shedule.Shall we say they weren't greeted with open arms.

It is with this monopoly that this group can get away with its contemptuous attitude of omnipotence.Many riders have offered constructive criticism only to have there ideas fall upon deaf ears.

Why is it imperative you support NERC? Because without complete and unconditional support no changes will be implemented.We collectively possess the capability to make a difference.Many Experts have decided to make a stand.Are you ready to step to the plate and assertively support the cause and better your organization?

We dont expect transformation overnight.Some of the issues that must be addressed are track conditions,whether it be dust, poor preparation and layout, metal fences and other matters of safety. The lack of tracks; an organization of this magnitude should have more tracks. (Which it could have if it wasn't so naive). Long sign up lines, short moto's and rider advancement are also on the agenda. First and foremost though it's this groups attitude that must be changed. We are paying customers and it's time we are treated as such. It's time we eradicated this "Don't like it, there's the door!" mentality. Collectively we can overcome the impediments presented before us and better our racing environment. Together we stand, dived we fall

New England Riders Coalition

AT middleboro NERC plans to hold a riders meeting at 8:45am.WE will elect two riders from each level(Novice,Amateur,Expert)to represent each class.Everybody please plan on attending. You can see Scott Carter(Exp #1), or me (Leo Candidus Exp #911)to obtain a sticker.

I support the NERC. I probably will not be at Middleboro, but I work with Scott, so I will see him about the organization. I'd like to thank the riders for the efforts put forth in bettering the racing series for the riders. You should be applauded. Shane

What an excellant letter!! Congratulations! Boy, it sure has taken a long time for a stand like this to occur. Unfortunately, I would rather ride a Kawasaki than go to Middleboro. Therefore, I will not be there along with many others that I know. Please inform us as to how we can support this heroic stand!!!!

i will be there for my sticker!!! (and the meeting) but we better watch out nesc might be taking names and numbers and looking for people to suspend but you know the people that got suspended probably wont mind not giving nesc thier money. it is only money they are losing if they want to suspend people for stupid reasons like riding behind they gate or moving dirt in front of the gate ect... we need changes bad !!!! how do we change the leaders of nesc to riders or people who care about riders ?
