Hi All,

I am afraid I do not not have good news. My brother Tim was involved in a pratice crash Wednesday night and had a compound fracture of his left arm/elbow. He was rushed to a local hospital and we then rushed him by ambulance to Mass General in Boston. He went through surgery OK and is resting utilizing a lot of pain medication. I have just taked with him on the phone at Mass General and he wanted me to tell everyone to have a great and safe weekend. See you at Bull Run.

Hi Dan, thats to bad Tim got hurt. Injurys suck. I'm coming off a bad one myself and its no fun. It sounds like he is doing alright so wish him my best for me and keep us informed on his recovery. Hey Dan, whats going on at NESC? Im out of the sport for a couple months and all hell is breaking out. Are people finally get sick of tiptoeing around the "officials", so they can get through the day without any problems?

Dan , you told me about Tim's injury in maine . I would like to say for the record and so everybody knows Tim was promoted to vet A during the spring series . He had a very strong chance of winning the 30+ B championship but because he raced to win (not sand bag)he will not win that champ . Before his injury Tim had some very strong finishes in the regular am class . Great job Tim wish you the best and a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about that Dan. Tell Tim we are all pulling for him and hope to see him back soon.. For once, Motoman is right (just kidding), he had a real shot at the VET Champ if he wanted to Sand bag, but instead he rode and now someone that is really good at sandbagging is going to win it... Anyways, hope he is feeling better..

I talked with Tim last night and he's in good spirits. He's moving his arm with the help of titanium and 34 staples. Thank god Dan was there with him or he would have bleed to death. I've been riding by myself all year but have put a stop to that this week with the news of Tim. As far as the points thing, I hear #79V pointed out this weekend after he made sure he had a 3 point lead on me. What a coincidence!

Tim was going to pit for me this weekend at Middleboro. Should we go or what? I want to support the cause but am also reading about this meeting in the morning which I would like to be involved in. After this whole points/championship crap and the expert ban I'm pretty much disgusted but want to stay tuned up for Unadilla.
