Motocross Club

Would any New England riders be interested in forming a motocross club much like the one at Central Village? Although, it is in the preliminary stages, JIM over at the Warren MOTO-X track has asked me to get together a list of potential members who would be interested in joining. In order for this to work I need to get about 150 riders who would be interested. I love how C.V. is set up and run by riders. This is the reason that the track blows away all the others we race at. More than anything I would love to become a member at C.V. but as many of you probably know for a new member to join, you have to either grease up, or strap on a set of knee-pads, and motocross isn't that important to me. The track in Warren, MA is approximately 1.5 miles in length, and they would be open to rider input as to the types of obstacles needed to make the track fun and challenging for all skill levels. A yearly membership would allow members unlimited track use for practice, and Jim has talked about trying to hold their own club races. Imagine being able to practice at a track you race? Every other area in the country has open practices at their race tracks, why can't we? Maybe this is the first step in starting a whole new racing scene in New England. Start a new organization that allows us to pick and choose which tracks we would like to race. Get Tread, Barton, Lorusso, Silva, Carter, Squires, Boron, etc. to join the new organization and everyone else will follow. Manufacturers would have to pay attention to the organization where the best talent races. Like I said this is still in it's infancy, but if there was ever a time for a change it's now! Although I am just a liason for the Warren track, you can e-mail me directly with questions, and i'll do my best to get back to you. If your interested in possibly joining, e-mail me directly ( don't clog this website up with 100 responses ) with your name, address, and telephone number, and I'll add you to the list. WE HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE A CHANGE-STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!
