First Time VCD'er, is my system good enough?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have a 166Mhz MMX Pentium processor with 32Mb of RAM. I also have a 2Mb S3 Virge PCI graphics card, and my CD Rom is an LG CD-RW running at 24 speed. Is this ok to play video cd's well?

Thanks, Jonathan Lovatt.

Yeah, that system will do. You can play VCDs on anything over 133MHz using software, and as low as a 386 using a hardware decoder.
