My job of growing old gracefully has caused me to be a failed construction, a curmudgeon and grouch. But nobody in the company (Heather) can discharge me. So, here I am, doing my best in a rude fashion to get along. I've got the seniority.

No babysitters. I can actually get my job done without someone watching over me and telling me what to do or checking up on me.

If the curriculum isn't working for me or the kids, I can twist it around, alter it, or just sabatoge it in anyway I choose...as long as I can prove my actions with results. I know other people who are not so blessed, who are stuck doing a job in the most inefficient way possible, without the authority to change anything. There is also lots of creativity involved in creating lesson plans/programs for preschoolers, and anyone allowed to express creativity in their job is very lucky.

I only answer to myself and my husband-I am not trapped all day with a bunch of people that totally mystify or depress me! I can dress up, dress down, dress sky-clad....no cubicles for me never, never, ever again.

The best thing about my job is that my boss is a visionary. He allows me the freedom to be creative, innovative and seek out new ways of doing business. I'm an idea person. I love coming up with new ideas! My boss is always receptive. I have passion for change.
