Yellow Warbler (I think)

Sure could be a yellow warbler, my guess is a female due to the absence of the nutmeg stripes you usually see on a male this time of year (I am assuming the image was made recently).

I'm impressed with the dramatic lighting in this photo - the subject is very nicely lit, and the background is very dark. The viewer WILL look at the subject. The stick below the bird, though, distracts. In fact, the light sticks on the bottom quarter of the image detract from the image as a whole.

The bird itself also appears a little soft - it's difficult for me to see the small detail in the feathers.

Sorry for all of the criticism - I do like the photo!
