I'm in Alaska. I hot tub. Tub is located on the back deck. I can watch the sunsets, the stars, the Aurora Borealis. This, a cup of hot cocoa and a good book - it's magic. Sitting in front of the fireplace late at night is nice, too. Especially when I am talking and laughing with my husband.....

Come home, take the telephone off the hook for awhile, strip, get into something comfortable, find a soft spot and read for awhile, somewhat recovering I go hang up the phone (Which frantically rings the minute I hang it up) I cop out and hand it to Heather, check e-mail answer mess call and doze for awhile. By then I am so unwound that it is hard to find either end of me. What is the term, "Laid Back," the back of my head touches my heels and laying back is accomplished, now a visit to the chiropractor.

I work from 4-midnight, so I do my relaxing before work. It was strange getting used to it, but it works pretty well for me now. I do lots of reading, play with the cats, work outside, do some writing, and sometimes stop by to see my Grandma before work. When I come home at night I'm all wound up, but I think about the relaxing morning ahead of me and usually get right to sleep. On very bad days, I may need to drink some lemonade or take a bath before bedtime, but usually looking forward to morning is enough.

I would like to know how to relax. My mind just keeps on racing on about work when I get home and even when I am asleep. Help!
