Listen, first of all Central a danger zone???? Come on you got to be kiddin me, Central is the only track that is presents somewhat of a challenge for the rider, all the obstacles are built so that they can be done a certain way by novices through experts , if anything its the rider that does not know his ability and tries to be the hero that gets injured, and yes there will always be injurys and freak accidents, that is motocross thats how it always been and will be. I have enough broken bones , screws and concussions to tell you that.

personally i like this track and i think that they should keep it just the way it is and i like going there not knowing what the track is going to be like... i like that track just the way it is ..

man you have to be the bigest PUSSY because it is the best track

-- b (airbig00@aol.com), June 20, 2000.

It's not the track that is dangerous, it's the riders that try to do the obstacles that they cant. I think these people watch McGrath all winter long and think they can do all that stuff. If people would just use their head, most of this wouldn't happen. Now, I dont know Ryan Woods personally, but I have to think he had a laps in judgement. If you are lapping someone, you are obviously faster than them, they most likely aren't doing most of the obstacles, you have to now how to get around all the people. You shouldn't be tripling past a novice lapper.. It's just not a smart move. The same goes for practice. The amatuer practice can be scary at times. You have all these kids that jump all these new jumps the first lap, without even thinking about the guy in front of him, who know's maybe that guy cant do the jump or there is 5 people doing the jump all at the same time. I personally can say that I didn't do alot of the jumps in practice for just this reason. I waited until my race where I was comfortable with the riders and their ability around me. I think if people just start using their head we could eliminate a lot of this. Anyways, that's my 2 cents..

Hope to see you at the races..(in one piece)

Exactly Ron! My opinion is that with a little more thought and planning from the riders AND the tracks/NESC, some of these injuries can be avoided! Most of the worst crashes this year involed a lapper or someone jumping on someone who rolled a jump. So I think three things could help.

1) like Ron said, riders have to more aware. I cant triple that CV uphill so i always glance back and double it to one side if anyones coming!

2)NESC classes have too large a mixture of experience. I cant believe people are regularly getting lapped on a 4 lap moto at central! Im not saying you suck cuz you got lapped, (hell i got lapped once). What im saying is someones in the wrong class! Mixing up skill levels that much is asking for trouble! (for example, i feel bad for the girls who are starting out riding with the some of the fastest vets out there!) I understand that there isnt enough daylight to run seperate classes for everone, so mabey the NESC has just grown too large to SAFELY run all classes at every race! If not now, it WILL HAPPEN SOMEDAY! What then?

3) Riders meetings and flaggers. Everyone has to admit that the riders meetings at central are pretty much a waste of time. Half the riders dont even go to the "mandatory" meeting. At pace arenacross or ultracross rider meeting, they talk about the track and tell all riders to roll the jumps on one side and jump them on the other. Put a piece of duct tape on your bars with a big arrow pointing to saftey if you cant remember!! (i have!) Finally, i think we all agree that if we had more flags (not just yellow) and the flaggers were better prepared, we would all have a better day!

For the record, i love CV and im not dumping on them. They do a good job over ther. These are just my opinions for all tracks and riders to think about! Soner or later....

i guess u are right guys and girls. it really is the riders and how they try to be the best at such a technical track. thats why i have noticed that all the younger youth riders get hurt because they push themselves to try the huge jumps and if u dont know how to recover in the air then your all done. i raced it once and it wasnt that bad . if you have enough brains i guess you will be alset riding there.and by the way for all the youth riders i am one so dont get upset that i said its us cause it is and yeah there are older guys who try to be bad a$$ and they get hurt to . well guys and girls see you at the races

p.s i must say though CV is one of the most held up tracks only if all the flagers were like that . yea why is it that only CV looks to have the beter flagers?everywhere else they have 6 year olds doing it .

O and airbig00 why are you trying to be a tuff guy calling people pussys .why dont u get some respect little tiny kids like my bro read this and i dont need you saying stuff like that. and another thing you are preety dumb for saying stuff like that to people you dont know ,that will get u in a boat load of crap

-- doug (thug1783@aol.com), June 20, 2000.

LETS KEEP IT CLEAN ! dont make more work for me, I dont want to starting deleting messages on here. one other thing, I can track every HIT on this page. SO I KNOW WHO YOU ARE ! keep that in mind.

-- Dave Daylor (daylor@motocross.com), June 20, 2000.

what are you talking about that is the best track that nesc goes to. Its the riders that thing they are good but suck and try the jumps anyway and end up getting hurt. Then there is just the ocasionall fread accident. but jumping is part of what mottorcross is all about

HEY ALLEN HAVING A TOUGH TIME TYPING THAT ?? BUT YA I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE CENTRAL IS THE BEST TRACK FOR N.E.S.C AND IT ISNT THE RIDERS ITS IS THE LEVEL THAT THEY ARE IN.. SOME OF THE AMETURES SHOULD STILL BE NOVICES AND SOME NOVICES SHOULD BE BEGINERS.. ( LIKE ME ) YOU THINK I LIKE GOING OUT THERE AND WORRYING WHO IS GUNNA LAND ON ME ?? BUT THAT IS PART OF THE RISK OF RACING... I JUST THINK THAT THEY SHOULD RAISE THE LIMIT.. JUST LIKE AMETURES TURNING EXPERT... I THINK THEY TURN EXPERT WAY TOO FAST ! AND THEN THEY GO TO THE EXPERT CLASS AND GET SMOKED.. THATS NOT FAIR ON THE EXPERTS BEHALF OR THE NEW EXPERT... THE TOP 10 EXPERTS GOTTA WORRY ABOUT LAPPERS WHILE THE NEW ONES HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING LANDED ON OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT... IF IT WAS UP TO ME I WOULD RAISE THE LIMIT FOR POINTS !!

-- JENN # 520 (MXCHIK520@AOL.COM), June 20, 2000.

Allen Allen Allen, are you serious? Mike Psaledas, J.B. Hopkins and Ryan Wood certainly are riders who DO NOT suck, they are some of the best riders in their classes. Please think about what you're going to say before you post anything else.

-- Paul Buckley (buckley@ici.net), June 20, 2000.

i agree with almost everything everyone wrote cv is the best nesc race if we rode it more people would get used to the jumps more and there would be less crashes it is too bad your parents dont let you race there because it is by far the best track if you use your head hold your line over jumps you dont do, it isnt really that dangerous i am amature and this past weekend i didnt do all the jumps all the time but i would just look to see if anyone was behind me that i thought might do the jump if there was i tried to stay to one side and leave plenty of room if the guy did do the jump.. but on the other hand dont be mad at your parents they only care about you remeber that

-- randy (randygrapes218@aol.com), June 20, 2000.

Yo whats up all, i'm glad you all like CV so much,...cuz you can have it...the # of injuries at that track is unbeleivable...i dont want to go there, why would i want to race somewhere were people are known to brake there backs and necks and stuff on a regular basis?!/!?!? whats wrong ith you guys?!?! and that bigair kid, dont sty stuff on here thats over pg13, younger people do read this...and besided, only cool guy Jack can talk like that on here

-- MatthewL (RaZeeMx970@aol.om), June 21, 2000.

MATT.... THAT TRACK IS THE BEST TRACK N.E.S.C HAS.. AND IT IS CALLED M O T O C R O S S... EVERY ONE THAT RACES TAKES THE RISK OF GETTING HURT... ALL THE OTHER TRACKS OUT SIDE OF NEW ENGLAND ARE ALOT MORE TECHNICAL THEN ANY OF OUR TRACKS OVER HERE... I LIKE GOING TO A TRACK NOT KNOWING WHAT IT IS GUNNA BE LIKE... I LIKE THE SUPRISES.. THEN I GO TO SOUTHWICK AND I KNOW THE TRACK LEFT AND RITE... AND MIDDLEBORO TOO THEY NEVER CHANGE IT....CENTRAL I LIKE GOING THERE BECAUSE ITS DIFFERENT EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO THERE... I DONT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I WENT THERE AND IT WAS SAME 2 TIMES IN A ROW... AND REMEMBER IF U FALL ... BLAME IT ON THE GUY IN FRONT OF YOU !

-- JENN (MXCHIK520@AOL.COM), June 21, 2000.

Central is a great track, much of the problem stems from the fact that in New England we have no safe place for a rider to become familiar with his or her abilities, when it comes to jumping. First off we have 1 track (CV)with jumps. Secondly, we can only ride the track on race day,(unless you're an elite member of the club). If anyone has ever been to racing in Dist 34 New York, the racers seem to know their limits very seldom have I seen a race delay or have practiced on the track that even to a novice everything is do able. Diamand Back has a huge table top a whoop section that can be doubled through(Tony L tripples through it. A step up double/tripple and also a great double and rocker section. Walden and Ace also seem to be equally as challenging with track obstacles I.E a single before a table top(makes it a double). Take the ride out there if you are bored with the tracks in NE, it is worth the trip, not to mention they hold practice days on some of the tracks. For more info check out Walden's website www.waldenmx.com Out of area riders are always welcome. We can tell the NESC what we want until we are blue in the face, but they will not listen unless it hits their pocketbook. Lets face it if you keep complaining yet still ride everyweek in the NESC, you are only renforcing to the committee that no matter what they do, people will still show up to race.

-- TJ (tj_rider@hotmail.com), June 21, 2000.

I think it is the best track NESC has so dont screw it up . If you are scare to jump then don't race. And if you wont ride it your a pussy.

Hey Devin, when you make amateur say your prayers that nobody lands on you over one of those jumps. And think twice before you call anyone a name on this message board. Paul B
