Arrrgh! My mock is WORTHLESS! It almost always cheats, all it wants to do is study, and it's stats are terrible!!! Can someone give me advice on this?

I personally hate them and had the same trouble as you,I guess you are supposed to train it in teh area of spd and pow.It will cheat a lot and I think it's attacks are almost all bad,not sure.I just Hate Them.

mocks are very frustrating, its true. but they have three things going for them which make them ultimately worthwhile;

1] a long lifespan

2] good ability to raise int

3] good attacks, especially leaf gatling and twister/twisters

Everyone has their own style...my guess is Mocks just do not have your certain style. Like plants, they have a decent lifespan, are good at intelligence, and I'm not sure about this, but last I looked I believe they have good withering techniques also...if I'm wrong anyone, feel free to correct me. Not like I'm an expert or anything, but my advice is let it train for intelligence, which I think was it's best stat, and let it go as high as it needs. When you combine, you'll probably have a good chance of the high intelligence carrying over. Mocks aren't necessarily bad, they just have a different style than most monsters. Intelligence can help you in many things....like expeditions, or learning new techniques. I don't know if Mocks would get a good amount of money, since I have personally never raised one...but what would be good to use yours for is basically do very well on all expeditions, with very high chances of finding good items. Battle with Mocks I can imagine must be difficult, but with monsters like plants, my strategy in battle is to use a series of weak, but low-guts cost attacks which wither away the opponent's guts, disabling any powerful moves the enemy monster may perform on yours. Mocks are much like plants in many ways I have found, due to reading information from various MR2 sites, so this strategy may work with your Mock. It's worth a try.

BTW-Torey-Don't Mocks have good Life as well? (Not lifespan; the Life stat)

So basically, what I'm recommending is

1) Use the Mock for expeditions

2) Use a lot of quick, cheap, withering attacks in battle

3) Try to get it to live a while, by making it happy. Letting it train in the stat it wants to should help you with that.

***Like I said, I'm no expert, so if I have written any inaccurate information, anyone feel free to correct me***
