Tell your birth story.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : jolene : One Thread

You can link to your entry, if you like, but for those that want to type it all out again, here's the place. Also, it's the place for those that don't have a journal!

Tell us about your first time meeting your babe.

This was a good time for me to finally write my birth story. A lot was very fuzzy since I was so tired when I had Evan and it's been four months. It's also very long so I'm warning you ahead of time. :)

Emma's birthstory can be found here:

It still makes me cry to read it, especially the ending.

The birth story of my second child (written on his second birthday).

This is an excellent idea, jolene.

The whole story of our baby, from the pregnancy test to the present, can be found HERE , and specifically, you can read the birth story there as well...

Jessie's birth story is here.< BR>
I was going to retype it, but that just seemed ridiculous. (=

Well, I took my journal down for public view, but the birth story is still available online. Hm, just realized I should change the URL so you can find it. Okay, here's where I'll put it in about 4 minutes: http://www.sweetpeas.or g/birthstory.htm.

The birth story of my second child is available under my May 10 link. The story of the whole pregnancy to the present (7 weeks post partum today!) is in my journal.

Jolene, this is a great idea! Thanks for the link, Bliss!

No journal entry...

William was (and is) a stubborn little thing and decided he did not want to come out! A few days before my duedate my blood pressure got high so they put me in the hospital for five (miserable) days. They tried to start induction on me 4 (yes four!) times with gel capsules so they could get in and break my water. However he was so high and tight that I never opened up far enough for them to even get close to where they needed to be. They then let me go home for a few days. At 12 days post due date I was again checked and told I could be induced by pitocin with a 95% chance of emergency csection due to the height of the baby or I could have an elective csection. I elected to have the csection and due to previous back injuries the epidural did not work so I was knocked out. I woke up and I had a baby boy.

Next time I want to know what the sex is before I have the baby because being the last to find out sucked!
