Ben and Jerry's Vanilla Heath Crunch.. God, I know the name of that like I know my own and I can't even think if that's the right name..

Anyways, that, and just plain old vanilla.

I hate chocolate ice cream.

True, Fresh Peach Ice Cream Black Walnut French Vanilla

The fresh Bredan peach ice cream made with Colorado peaches and bought in the form of a cone at the Bredan Tower about 1000 South Broadway - Denver, Colorado in the 1930's. A treat to top all treats.

Wonder what ever happened to Bredan Butter and Bluehill Cheese?

Soft Vanilla from Carvel.

Second place goes to one scoop orange sherbet, one scoop vanilla. The same combination as a Creamsicle, in other words.

I like a bit of everything....preferably all together waiting until it all melts and mixing it all together...mmmm.

That or just plain vanilla :)

Ahhh yes...I remember fresh peach ice cream. Still like it--we used to make apricot ice cream too, I remember. These days, tho, I pull it off the freezer shelves and seem to gravitate toward anything that has chunks of something in it--snickers, peanutbutter cups, caramel. Definitely "stuff" in vanilla, rather than chocolate. I love chocolate, but not in ice cream. Unless there's no other alternative.

When I was a kid I usually got chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream from baskin robbins-the kind that has actual chunks of peanut butter in it. I never ordered an ice cream that didn't have chocolate in it, that would have been absurd-in my mind it wasn't dessert if it wasn't chocolate. I haven't changed much, except as an adult I drink chocolate coffee's and latte's-2 addictions rolled into one.

Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia, Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Pralines & Cream, Cookies 'n' Cream.

Okay, now I'm getting hungry!

Mmmm... mint chocolate chip at Baskin-Robbin's. Or just plain chocolate chip at Braum's. I also love a chocolate chip shake. Something about the little bits of semi-sweet chocolate in that creamy vanilla ice cream drives me wild... :)

Ice cream that is allowed to soften. Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, or Baskin & Robbins Vanilla Coconut......

Mmmmmmm!

Ben & Jerry's Lofat NY Fudge Brownie something or other, very chocolate-y but not too rich...Thrifty Drugstore's Chocolate Malted Krunch (chocolate ice cream with chocolate flakes and little malt bb's floating in it, maybe some nuts...I forget)...and the best, available only in Texas and not even all the time there, Blue Bell Ice Cream's "Banana Pudding", banana based ice cream with small pieces of banana and Nilla wafer cookies. Nummy.

Chocolate Covered Cherrys

It's the best thing you will ever taste. The only thing is that it is hard to find in the stores. They are always SOLD OUT.

I love, love, love black walnut ice cream. Does anyone know where I can find it in New Jersey?

-- Judy Wilson-Smith (jwilson@ias.edu), March 13, 2001.

Orange. You know how hard it is to find orange ice cream? Damn hard, that's how hard.

-- Dave Van (davevan01@hotmail.com), March 13, 2001.

Carmel Pecan Fudge is my favorite. I know it's seasonal, but I could only buy it during the month of June and then couldn't find it anywhere in northeast Tarrant County (Fort Worth, Texas area). Last year I was able to buy it through November. Oh, well!

I am truly addicted and love B&J's vanilla nutty coconut!...although, I am not sure if that is the exact name. All I know is that a nearby Ben & Jerry's has decided to discontinue that flavor ;( and I was devastated. I am search of that flavor..but haven't had much luck in finding it. HELP!
