Washington DC is having its share of unexpected problems that seem to involve electricity. Hmmmmm....

In addition to half a dozen plus man hole covers being blown periodically over the past six months (they are still arguing cause although typically it does involve questions surrounding either electrical cables and/or gas lines) -- we have had (I think) six incidences (four in the last month alone) of subway shutdowns because of fires/smoke in the subway tunnels.

Whazup?
