How would YOU do on SURVIVOR?--Al
-- Al Schroeder (al.schroeder@nashville.com), June 09, 2000
On Survivor ? Nuh unh, wouldn't participate. To my way of thinking survival is something done as a matter of emergency and necessity - - not as a personal, free-for-all, pre-fab contest. What are they going to Hoke up next ?

ROFL! They wouldn't let me onto the boat!!

I wouldn't do well at all in that environment. They couldn't PAY me enough to try it.

I am a fan of nature, but I grew up in a cold climate (Northern Michigan) and I melt if it gets above 75 degrees. I would honestly rather live in a igloo for a week, than camp outdoors in a warm climate. From my experience, the whole point of camping is that it makes you appreciate your modern furnished home all the more when you return!

I live in Ohio. It was 114 degrees outside this afternoon and it will be that hot tomorrow. And probably for the rest of the month and then it will become a bit hotter by just a few degrees in July. I refuse to leave my air conditioned home if there is an outside chance that I will have to sweat or become dirty. My car has air conditioning and I absolutely will not travel anywhere in hot weather unless I am in a cold car.
So, to answer your question: I would suck on Survivor. I'd be the first one voted off the island because I would be wanting to kill everyone else around me if I had to go without decent food, the internet, a nicely heated or air conditioned environment and a proper bathroom with a shower, toilet, vanity and preferrably, hot tub.
I'm so spoiled. *Laughs*

Meghan, we are soulmates.

I felt like Sonya was my soulmate, actually. (But I bet SHE would have eaten the bugs!) I would have completely failed the bug test, however.

I feel like i would probably do okay for the camping, co-operating, and fending for yourself side of it.I would have voted MYSELF off the island though, the second they tried to make me eat that larvae.
ICK!
