On another thread, someone offered to "reveal" some alias or other that they had used in the past as part of a "deal." Though I completely ignored the request, I had to respect the sense of trade.

To-day, I am feeling generous.

Sensing a smidgen of unwelcome-ness here lately, perhaps those who would wish to see me cease and desist my informative glimpses into the past would entertain a trade. I am a business-person, after all - and a reasonable one at that.

I will state this once: Pooh and paw if you must, but there exists the distinct possibility that this is a one-time offer. And, I have left the bargaining table on several occassions in much more important negotiations due to insult. Of course, some may insult in order to insure they continue to read nearly daily glimpses into the historical rhetoric of the debate, interspersed with witty and accurate commentary, well into 2001.

I don't follow you. What are you proposing? As far as I am concerned, continue to post your "daily glimpses into the historical rhetoric of the debate" but leave off the "witty and accurate commentary". Leave off the "vindicated regards" too.

The so-called commentary adds nothing. It comes off as smug, smarmy and smart-alecky. I find the quotes themselves to be entertaining and instructive but your comments are irritating. If well chosen, the quotes speak for themselves.
