SQL 6.5 Mirroring

greenspun.com : LUSENET : SQL Server Database Administration : One Thread

I just started with this company and one of the servers I am responsible for uses SQL server. Well the databases are mirrored, but they mirrored it on the same disk array and I want to remove it. What would be the best way to go about doing that. I tried to disable the mirror but after the next reboot SQL Server wouldn't come back up. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I would use Transact SQL to do this (and not trust Enterprise Manager). Use ISQL/w and DISK MIRROR and DISK UNMIRROR.

Good Luck,
