Alternatives to what? I've always been rather fond of "She Who Must Be Obeyed" myself.

how about a play on her real name...uhm...Barberella?, that wouldn't work. could use traditional names..."ball & chain", "the better half", "the mrs.", or "bosslady"

how about "da bride"..that's kinda catchy.

brab rabb abbr arbb hmm, no luck there...

how about she-al ? yeah...SHE-Al !!! I like it!!

-Bob...go to sleep bosslady)

1. Wifey-poo 2. Sex Goddess 3. Al's Gal Pal 4. Barbalicious!

Oh come on now, those are good! ;-)

Although "She Who Must be Obeyed" is interesting to an old Haggard fan like myself, it doesn't really fit....She-Al???? Puh-LEEZE. *Grin* (Nice try, but she's anything BUT a feminine version of myself.) I rather LIKE Barbalicious, Katie, but probably Barb would prefer the "Barb" out of there...and Dave, "Barbie"??? Only if I had a death wish. *Grin* again.

Sex Goddess has possibilities, though...

Maybe the Bride of Schroeder, somewhat along the lines of the Bride of Frankenstein?

Oh, well, something will occur to me.--Al

Soulmate? Your other half? Or how about your "better half"? She might like that :)

Uhm, I don't know if you were serious or anything. But unless you move to some very different place, you could do a global search & replace "Barb" with "my wife" and nobody would notice the difference. I understand that men in Tennessee have at most one wife each at any one time.
