"Hey Moriarity, enough with the negative vibes man." A free used sprocket/chain set to the first person to guess which movie this line comes from...........

Seriously, give'em a break dude. It took the Japanese and Austrians years to get where they are today. Cannondale has done it in 2 years. Also, don't forget that while Cannondale is a large company, they ain't huge. They must have some big ones to put up $22mil to go head to head with the others. Anyone that appreciates bikes or even anything mechanical can see how trick their machine is and will be once the bugs are worked out......

We were at the invitational Sunday. Neither rider looked too happy with the longevity (seemed like clutch problems) bike looked like it handled like a pile too. If you look at the size of the company and the r&d time and $ it takes to develop a competetive machine they are way ahead of the curve. I think they spread themselves too thin and got into couches etc before they had finished one project they started 3-4 others. saw the mx400 is finally in production.

Ill tell ya what though, I saw keith tear southwick up a few weeks ago on it. During the first moto, he got the holeshot and only one other guy (wally) even saw him again! Im not a four stroke fan but i believe once they get their shit together this bike will be awesome! Then mabey they'll make a 2 stroke! :)

Every aricle I've read says they do not have plans for a 2 stroke. Bet they will get it sorted out soon, we'll see how they do Sunday. If they cant get the reliability it will hurt sales for sure. What is failing on it? I saw clutches being changed but what else? Fuel injection?

jack, i feel bad for kj he's obviously better than what's being shown, but did you see his mechanic running up the start straight carrying a battery and jumper cables after the 1st turn pileup in the 1st 250ex moto?
