I am unable to get any response from pushing the SEL/SET button. Nothing happens when I push it down. What should happen is the compensation (+/-) comes up - however, this is not the case. Everything else seems to be working fine. I tried changing the batteries which didn't help. A side note. Before this happened I noticed that instead of of the ETTL showing up in the uppper left corner the TTL came up. I went into the CF and made sure everything was set on the default. Then it went back to the ETTL mode. What is strange is that I have never even changed the CF modes to start with.

Is it possible that the flash has been set to slave mode by accident?
