I recently bought the 2020z, fine camera! Does anyone know, is there a way to keep the setting for the IR control on? I have found myself in some photo situations where I can't get to the camera to put it back in the selftimer/remote control mode. In the manual, P. 73 "When the Remote control is not operated for approximately 3 minutes the self timer/remote control mode will be cancelled."

It seems to me that having to put it back in the remote control mode almost defeats the purpose of having the remote control, such as for wildlife photography.
