Large relatively easy Slab climbing in Yosemite

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Mountaineering : One Thread

My son and I are going to visit the valley on the 16th of June and were interested in doing a fairly easy slab climb with some good exposure and duration, we have done a few slabs on hte East(Whitehorse, Rogers Rock and others)so we don't want to go to far beyond our ability but would love to do a slab in the valley on this trip. Any suggestions would be welcome, if there is a climbing guide book that speaks of these types of climbs I would be interested in getting it. Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by "easy", but as climbing at Glacier Point Apron is fairly dangerous, i would recommend Snake Dike on Half Dome. Only 2 sections of 5.7 , mostly 5.5 and easier
