Why Is Swimming The Best Form Of Exercise?

I think swimming is the best form of exercise. I'm going to do a persuasive speech on this but I need facts!!! (i.e...Low stress on joints, muscles, etc.) Please help me locate sources for my research ASAP!!! I have to give the speech the first week in June.

I meditate (focus on my breathing) when i'm swimming.It's a relaxing and a spiritual experience both at ounce.When I'm done my swimming I experience joy , inner joy.

Compare swimming with any other physical activity like jogging. I used to jog six days a week, to try to get into the best shape as possible. Since i started swimming, it made me feel great not physically, but mentally as well!

I consider swimming to be the best physical activity that helps to lower any stress. It can help clear your mind and work off anger and frustration. Swimming has many other great benefits, such as it tones your muscles and puts no stress on your joints. Swimming is all about technique, so if you can get it right then your muscles will tone up well because you are involving all your muscles into play! Swimming will help you lose weight and burn off calories much quicker. Try taking up swimming as a regular activity then you will notice the difference in yourself!

Swimming is the best physical activity because it is far better than jogging and cycling and can be a fun exercise to do, that burns a lot of calories when you're in the pool. I lost about 6 pounds in a month...so think about it being a regular activity! If you were thinking about losing weight, try swimming because it is the quickest way! And thats a fact!

you're right about swimming as the best activity to do because i was more of a runner than a swimmer, and since i took out swimming i realised that my stamina has increased a lot within a month's time.it works on every part of the muscle and helps you breathe better!
