Chemtrails - What's the verdict?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Hello everyone. Just wanted to find out if any current information concerning chemtrails is floating around. I do not necessarily believe the theory that the government is sparying chemicals on the population at large, but you never know..

I woke this morning to a beautiful, clear, blue sky and before 10:00 am the sky was covered with x's in different locations. The trails are spreading out and forming a layer of thin clouds. I thought they would dissapate, but haven't. This really does look weird. If anyone is in or around the Hobart, Oklahoma area check it out for yourself.

Thanks for any information that you can provide.

Here's a link that actually provides something that you don't usually see in a chemtrail/contrail posting: research.

-- (hmm@hmm.hmm), May 31, 2000.

Hello Gman- Here is a link to one of the pages of a website written by a guy who has been studying and debunking "chemtrail" conspiracy theories for more than 3 years now...

http://www.fortunecity.com/greenfield/swallowtail/619/linesinsk y.html

On the other hand, if you are the type of person who *actually enjoys* seeing a conspiracy behind every bush, you may want to join the folks over at the TB2000 EZboard forum. Lot's of discussions about Nostrodamus, NWO, UFOs, chemtrails, concentration camps, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum.

(Sorry "hmmm". Looks like we posted at the same time)

-- CD (costavike@hotmail.com), May 31, 2000.

Thanks for the information. I ran across a website at one time that had some information about a guy that was attempting to take samples from the chemtrails and have them tested. I can't find the link and was wondering if anyone might have it.

I tend to believe that chemtrails are nothing more than exhaust from aircraft, but did make some strange observations this morning. Hobart is about 30 miles from Altus Air Force Base and about 60 miles from Fort Sill Army base. I traveled south this morning to Snyder which is between Altus and Fort Sill. I could see the beginning of the contrails, which was just over the Wichita Wildlife Refugee or just west of Fort Sill. The sky was clear over Lawton Fort Sill and completly covered west and northwest from there. On my way back I did see several jet aircraft that seem to have came from Fort Sill. Also saw two large aircraft that came from Altus Air Force Base. The two large aircraft were flying north close together and then split and swung back south. As they made there turns a black substance started coming out of the aircraft. I'm guessing that they were seeding the contrails to produce more cirrus clouds.. Really don't know. Also it is possible that it took the jet aircraft several miles to climb to 10,000 ft. in order for the ice crystals to form, but there again I would just be guessing. It was an interesting morning for a small southwest oklahoma town though. Gave me something to do.

CHEMTRAILS ARE SUPERMAN FARTING

-- (nemesis@awol.com), May 31, 2000.

The two large aircraft were flying north close together and then split and swung back south.

As they made there turns a black substance started coming out of the aircraft.

Perhaps they were practicing in-flight refuling. The dark substance could have been a residue or fuel draining out of the boom after the refuling. Or it could be an additive used give extra boost for departure from one another.

I just fly a plane and pull the lever when the GPS indicates,

other than that I know nothing.

Regarding chemtrails, I think the jury is still out. The site provided above does seem to eliminate certain possibilities, but I would be interested in a reasonable explanation of what I had observed and described here.

-- David L (bumpkin@dnet.net), May 31, 2000.

If you are interested in serious discussion of chemtrails, you will not find it on this forum. The answer that you will find here is that people who see planes flying in unusual patterns and emmiting chemtrails must be stupid or lying.

-- Dave (dave@hotmail.com), May 31, 2000.

Dave:

That's an exaggeration. I'm sure there are people who read this forum yet take chemtrails seriously. There's no question that *something* is going on in every reported case, and equally no question that those who report these cases don't know what it is. A few cases have actually been pinned down in detail, and it turns out nothing evil was involved. But don't abandon hope -- *anything* you know nothing about *might* still be evil. Right?

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), May 31, 2000.

No, Flint, while I generally agree with you, I must agree with Dave on this one. I'd like to at least hope and believe that most people here believe "that people who see planes flying in unusual patterns and emmiting chemtrails must be stupid or lying (although I'd add "gulible" to the list.

Certainly, I believe that. Indeed, I use belief in chemtrails as sort of a litmus test to sort out potentially valuable web sites and opinions from the large mass of paranoid trash that exists on the Web. After all, the chemtrailers are a little more sane than the tax nut crowd or the mind control people, but not much.

Gman, you may be looking for a site like the Chemtrail Message Board.

-- Dancr (addy.available@my.webpage), May 31, 2000.

E.H.

Then enroll me in the stupid liars club. I've seen skywriting. I've seen crop dusting. I've seen aerobatics (Blue Angels, Thunderbirds) emitting red plumes. I've seen cloud seeding. I've seen planes dump water on fires and Agent Orange and napalm on jungles. I've even seen unusual formations for purposes I wasn't aware of. The only difference was, I didn't fear them or assume the worst.

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), May 31, 2000.

Ah, yes, Flint, but you don't then start talking about "Chemtrails"

That's sort of a buzz-word for unrestrained lunacy. (you realize you owe me big time for making you look this reasonable on this particular forum)

-- E.H. Porter (Just Wondering@About.it), May 31, 2000.

E.H.

Some of what I mentioned really WERE chemtrails, dropped with bad intent. And I've read about cities being dusted with mosquito poison. Which is definitely toxic and evil if you're a mosquito.

Dave is simply looking for discussions among those who don't know what they're looking at AND who are determined to fear it. And he's right, I agree this is the wrong forum for those who treasure their ignorance. Here, he's all too likely to get answers, which takes all the fun out of it.

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), May 31, 2000.

My using the term "chemtrails" was not meant to imply that what I observed was necessarily sinister or malevolent. I simply found more convenient, to use that term than to say "apparently controlled aircraft emissions of unknown composition and purpose." However, given the connotation that "chemtrails" seems to carry, I shall in future refer to ACAEOUCAP.

-- David L (bumpkin@dnet.net), May 31, 2000.

David L -- actually, the term "contrails" and/or (as appropriate) "clouds" seems to work quite well as a designator.

-- E.H. Porter (Just Wondering@About.it), May 31, 2000.

I am going to jump, feet first, into this attempt at discrediting David's questions. To Flint: you said "anything unknown might be thought as evil". Not so! The clouds are "unnatural". You do not take a beautiful, cloud free day and turn it into a hazed cloud covered sky, to block out the beauty, for no reason. The reason is not "seeding the clouds" to produce rain. We have not had rain for forty days and forty nights (to quote a phrase). We do not automatically assume it to be an evil action, we just keep looking for logical reasons. If the Government lets your Grandmother die because she cannot pay for her needed medication, why in the Hell would they lay out big money for cloud seeding? They are not that humane, never mind the hungry children in the U.S. E.H., are you by chance an M.D.? My family and I have learned that many M.D.'s have very closed minds when it comes to looking outside their small arena of learned treatment and medical treatment alternatives that is outside their scope, hence, some die, or live a suffering physical life, when there were alternatives that offered hope and physical improvement. When MD's cannot escape the confines of their own educated walls, what hope is there for them to look outward? David, you can call them Contrails, Chemtrails, or ACAEOUCAP, any which flavor you choose. But I see them (trying to find a trend, saw they didn't fly on two Sundays in a row), what does that mean? I don't know about the chemical spray thing, after all I am still living and breathing. But I am MAD AS HELL about some human having the power and technology to turn a beautiful clear day into a cloud covered formation, and no rain results. It isn't natural...

-- Name (Ch@nger.com), May 31, 2000.

I looked for months at these fine Minnesota skies and never saw anything that looked strange, and we don't live far from the airport either. So you can maybe imagine my amusement at finding tic-tac-toe boards in the sky this past weekend. Pulled steaks off the grill, ate inside...

-- Gia (laureltree7@hotmail.com), June 01, 2000.

They are definitely real, and definitely intentional. In my judgement, they could be one of the following, in order of most likely...

1. An attempt at reducing or slowing the rate of global warming.

2. Experimentation with a type of reflective OTH (over the horizon) missile detection or defensive security system.

3. A very mild, very gradual innoculation to build immunity to anthrax.

-- Hawk (flyin@hi.again), June 01, 2000.

Hawk,

Good analysis. To your's I'd add:

4. Weeding out the weaker "useless eater" members of our society through illnesses that younger, healthier people can survive. It would clearly be to the government's advantage to get rid of as many AIDS patients and people over 65 drawing Social Security as possible. This could be done under the guise of attempting to build immunity to biowar agents.

-- Lurker2 (lurker2@lots.to.lurk.for), June 01, 2000.

Hey Lurker2 -- brilliant analysis. The its in the best interest of the government to get rid of the old people, huh? Great thinking, dude. Bet government heavies like Jessie Helms, Strom Thurmond and the like just jumped right on that band wagon. What would you say the average age of the Senate is?

Now, if it was a virus that would only affect young paranoid twits with an internet connection -- that I could believe.

-- E.H. Porter (Just Wondering@About.it), June 01, 2000.

E.H.

I believe you have misread Lurker2's sarcasm. The labeling of Hawk's pure, baseless ex-rectum speculation as "analysis" should have given it away for you.

And to be honest, I thought Lurker2's proposal had a spark of genuine entertaining insanity about it as well.

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), June 01, 2000.

E.H.

Just because many senators are senior citizens doesn't mean that they don't secretly agree with TPTB. Publicly they need to be all for Senior's rights and Social Security to keep on getting the votes for re-election. But privately, they are among the power elite with all kinds of special privileges including access to the secret FEMA underground bunkers that are reserved for the chosen. Whether or not they would really be admitted to these facilities in a real emergency is open to speculation, but ostensibly they have reserved places.

So, who do you think that the government would rather be rid of, elderly and others on the government dole, or younger tax paying workers who don't use as much Medicare services?

-- Lurker2 (lots@to.lurk.for), June 01, 2000.

Flint and E.H.

I actually am kidding about the chemtrails, but am serious about the argument that it is in the government's best interest to have anyone receiving government money as opposed to paying taxes die at as early an age as possible. One dimension of this is the FDA's continous attempts to suppress alternative health therapies in favor of the cut, burn and poison techniques of mainstream medicine. After all, if some alternative techniques actually prolong life, think of all the additional payments the government would have to make!

-- Lurker2 (lots@to.lurk.for), June 01, 2000.

Lurker2:

We wouldn't need to reduce lifespans by that much. Over half of our medical expenses, on average, are spent during the final year of our life. So just reduce lifespans by one year, and we save over HALF the money, right? Sounds good on paper...

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), June 01, 2000.

Lol! Someone paid a compliment to someone other than Flint and his pea-sized insecure ego can't handle it! Now he's resorting to foul language that he always ridicules me for. As a matter of fact, I have done extensive analysis of chemtrails, and my theories are closer to the truth than anything I have heard from the weak-minded dipshit Flint or anyone else. Thanks for the compliment Lurker2. :-) Don't concern yourself with Flint, his game is to disagree with anyone who has an intelligent idea in hopes of making himself appear superior. Remember "kicking the anthill"?

-- Hawk (flyin@hi.again), June 01, 2000.

"As a matter of fact, I have done extensive analysis of chemtrails"

So sayeth hawk - a fella with a Pedro Guererra IQ. "Extensive analysis" - I almost busted a gut laughing...

-- Y2K Pro (y2kpro1@hotmail.com), June 02, 2000.

Pro, I can assure you, my I.Q. DWARFS yours.

When you're down there at the lower end, this is a difficult thing to perceive, but to most of us, it is *oh so OBVIOUS.*

Hang in there though, maybe in your next lifetime God will actually let you have a fully developed human brain. "(snicker)" :-)

-- Hawk (flyin@hi.again), June 02, 2000.

Actually, Lurker2, one of the weaknesses (or strengths, if you prefer) of democratic forms of government is that they generally have no incentive to get rid the poor, the old and the weak.

After all, that's put half or more of the government out of a job. Much of my family comes from Irish "Potato Famine" stock. As someone once said about my New York ancestors -- they weren't educated, they had no skills, they didn't fit in . . . but they could do one thing just as well as any other American . . . they could vote. And vote they did.

I am going to have to Stand Up in support of the real Hawk, not the impersonsator who posed dribble, now and then in Hawk's name. The original Hawk posted posted some mind expansion questions. Specifically, as I remember, the problem with the planes, after the roll over. And weren't there several plane crashes, all in a row. I had already quizzed a plane programmer, and he said "might be a problem with the landing gear and the Infrared". How many Landing Gear newscasts problems have been reported? Some may say none, unless you were looking for a trend. I saw them, because a friend forewarned me, I link them all together. It is tedious work, linking and recognizing a truth. And what can one do, when a Truth Sits in their Lap? Well, apparently, truth in a lap does not automatically open all eyes. Shit! (human ) why have I been dealt this hand?

-- My Story (andim@stickingtoit.com), June 02, 2000.

Chemtrails are real.

They are part of a government plot to root out and compile a list of the paranoid delusional people who believe that they are a plot. Then the government will be able to round these folks up and thus have plenty of people to populate the currently empty death-camps. And I say that is a great idea. If we do not put people into the death- camps then it was money flushed down the drain, and I would hate to see next years death-camp budget slashed due to lack of inmates.

-- Uncle Deedah (unkeed@yahoo.com), June 02, 2000.

Uncle, we weren't all born nuts. You can diss me all you want. The sky "trails" exist, and they are not natural. You may point me out as a "Religious Freak", and seek to discount the words I am directed to post. Well, this is your choice. But I firmly reinterate, Nails were not invented until the 1700's, so how can the various churches say Jesus "was nailed on cross?". I believe the original language might have said he was "hanged," on a cross.Do you want me even to venture onto other avenues of Man's attempt at controlling a population? And their belief? My God is an Awesome God, He reigns on Heaven and Earth. and he gives the gift to some, to sift the chaff, from the fodder.

-- My Story (andi'm@stickingtoit.com), June 04, 2000.

Yes, the sky-trails do exist, but they are not poison being spread to the thin the herd. And I guess if nails were not invented until the 1700s then the bible is wrong about that too.

-- Uncle Deedah (unkeed@yahoo.com), June 04, 2000.

Thanks to all who stopped by my website. Please bookmark it and continue to lookat the chemtrail claims rationally, logically, and factually. They don't exist. If you are a "believer', you've been had, bad. Don't forget who had you, and who told you.

Jay Reynolds http://www.fortunecity.com/greenfield/swallowtail/619/index.html

-- Jay Reynolds (cen05897@centuryinter.net), June 11, 2000.

Jay, how dare you ask some of our folks here to look at the chemtrail claims rationally, logically, and factually. Thats blasphemy I say! You nutsos over at EZ board hear this?

-- Ra (tion@l.1), June 11, 2000.

Jay,
I appreciate the research you've done. However, might I suggest that to say that you have encountered no evidence to support chemtrails, rather than stating that they don't exist, would be more consistent with dispassionate scientific inquiry.

-- David L (bumpkin@dnet.net), June 11, 2000.

Jay, and Jesus! take another look around. Today's cold sky started without a cloud, until the planes left their systemic plumes. Plumes which fan out, until a once clear morn becomes cloud covered. Such a cloud cover, after eight hours, one would think it natural, unless one had occasion to observe. Saw the same thing in the heat of the summer, see same thing in the freeze of winter. So much for the explanation of the spheric change. Got a suggestion, take a whole day off, sit outside in a chair, watch the sky, stay in communicado with other phone wise. You have to see the whole thing span. See for your own eyes. Don't know what it is, but it isn't ""earth natural". Today, was such a sad thing to see.The "trails" started before the sunrise, then they waned, Sun came out, big and beautiful on a cold morn, but the "plane trails" won, when the day was done.
