If you had to name a child *today, what would you name him or her?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Nayad : One Thread |
Give me both a girl's name and a boy's name, if possible!

Keegan Patrick for a boy and Kassandra Annemarie for a girl. Patrick is after my uncle who died in a motercycle accident. Kassandra is after the character in the book "Firebrand" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. The Annemarie is a combination of my mom's and mom-in-laws names.

I'll admit it right now - names are a hobby of mine. I just like playing around with them, and I expect that I could name a family of twenty without too much effort! So *today, if I had to name someone, I would pick either Kira Lily or Zane Patrick. Tomorrow, it could be a whole 'nother matter.
Since I'm here pontificating on this subject, I'll say that I like kind of dreamy, unusual, romantic-sounding names that are not too trendy or too frilly. I'm especially particular about girls' names. Liking unusual *names does not lead me to like unusual *spellings, though! If you like the name Victoria, please do not spell it Vyktorriah! That is all.
