The Eastern Virginia RR Museum and Historical Society, Inc., is forming a rail museum and historical society in Eastern Virginia that will cover the historical aspects of the railroads that served the area from Williamsburg, Va., Hampton and Newport News, Va., the entire Norfolk-Portsmouth-Chesapeake-Virginia Beach area, the Suffolk and Franklin, Va. area and the Northeastern portion of North Carolina. We already have several pieces of rolling stock in our collection and are looking for additional donations of historic locomotives and equipment from this area's railroads for preservation.
