Just wanted to congratulate our resident drunken dromedary on his graduation. Congratulations! Now don't let those studies interfere with your uploads.

Thanks guys! I'm still working on this "real life" thing. Maybe it has something to do with hamburgers :)

Actually, this is probably one of the best responses I've gotten for graduating. I had a party on Sunday night, but there were 6 brats running around the entire time. Then, on Monday, I went to my grandparents for a while, where I thus received one of the worst headaches I've had in quite a while (I'm used to eating a ton of food at Pizza Hut; I barely even touched my Bread Sticks (gee, why is it I don't have a life....could it be the weight problem????) ).

Thanks once again. I won't be letting this little thing called "college" get in my way of acheiving over 4M in Burger Time (lousy Billy Mitchell and Chris Ayra....8M my @$$.....). I'll see you guys in the MARP channel!

Sincerely,

J.D. "The GRADUATED Jedi Drunken Llama" Lowe

I'll kick in with my congrats as well - not that it means much from someone who spent virtually all their time in the arcade at varsity until they dropped out to get a real job. (varsity = University = college for our non-kiwi friends).

There's just one thing I would say though:

Quote: "lousy Billy Mitchell and Chris Ayra....8M my @$$....."

While I know nothing of the 8M you're referring to I wouldn't be so quick to put down such recognised players as Billy and Chris. Yes the game gets impossibly difficult and yes you have done well to reach level 28 (or was it 27). You have by no means played a perfectly clean game on the earlier levels where points galore are available for totally clean runs with the maximum 16k bonus per hamburger part as much as possible on each level patterns permitting.

So, feel proud of your achievements to date - you've done well so far in comparison to the currently posted scores at Deca2000 - but don't put down the achievements of others who may be better than you without having seen them play or an inp of theirs. Remember "it aint over until the fat lady sings". That is not an inference on anyone's weight it's just a well known saying from the era of a fossil like me.... ;-)

....so, I get it, you're calling me a lady now, is that right :) You're actually lucky. At the college I'm going to (DeVry), we make the programs to make games (I hope; at least that's what I'll be learning), so we don't have any really good arcade games.

About BTime; I know my game was FAR from perfect. I have no grouping strategies for type-2, type-5, or type-6 screens, so if I could get them, I could stand a better chance.

Krogman sent me an email letting me know about both Billy Mitchell and Chris Ayra. I wasn't trying to sound mean; I was just trying to put the "J.D." kind of edge to what I was saying. You know, the "kinda harsh (fossil), but not really meaning it" kind of edge. I've done some research on these guys, and I know that they've got the skills (25,000,001 in Centipede! How does someone do that???). OK, so there was a hint of jealousy. But I do have the respect for them that I guess I didn't show in my message.

Sincerely,

J.D. "Graduated.....with honors!" Lowe
