Thought it would be more polite to move to a seperate column, ever notice in that ep that she lands in a bush of red roses, face first! Clearly meant to say she's blinded by love. I sort of imagined that when she was kissed her essence was moved into the clone, and now the clone was left behind and that's why she said, "Nooo", and chased the clone, because she didn't want to be left behind as a semblence of Aeon. Also, I wouldn't be too happy with the fact that a man I loved made copies of me and then had them whenever he wanted. Personally I'd deck him.

You did what needed to be done ;-) I had'nt connected that scene (rose bushes) with her predicament before, that was a good metaphor. I always thought that the room of Aeon clones were fakes just dresses up like Aeon until he finally could capture the sample?

I didn't see any attempt made by him to capture her. Also, when he said to her 'you're Aeon, that's what you wanted me to think,' does that mean he believes she was a clone, then who does he think died?

Doggone this episode, I've tried about 5 times to continue with an answer to your may 27 post, but I have some kind of weird emotional problem with this episode. It makes me uneasy, why did she let herself be copied, who did he think he was in love with? I can feel my mind forming a denial wall or something,

It could be that when she first viewed Trevor violating S with the watch device she did not fully understand its purpose, perhaps she had no idea of the consequences? Then again, was it a well devised plan not well executed? at the border wall, she discusses with herself that it was her plan to destroy Trevor (I gather emotional not physically) So perhaps her original motivation for duplication was merely to toy with Trevor? and in a sense her original intent was realised because her death did have this affect. Thanks for your thoughts on the episode you have raised some points that I had'nt really considered before. If you would prefer to let it rest don't feel obligated to discuss it.....

It had always seemed to me that Aeon knew exactly what was going to happen in the end, from the moment she first stepped into the plan. I assumed she knew she would have to die to hurt him. Then again, how presumtuous of me to assume that Aeon is omnipotent. She obviously isn't, and makes mistakes, and is forced to deal with new complications, so perhaps she didn't really know what she was getting into and continued to refine her plan as she carried it out. This is probably the more likely thing... It's been awhile, so I may be wrong on this, but I seem to remember that the episode's introduction states that Aeon has heard about Trevor's procedure, at least enough to consider how she might manipulate it to further her own ends (that is, how to annoy Trevor) were she to ever come across it. Which brings up something else: did Aeon intend on finding the cloning lab, or did she encounter it by chance in pursuit of Scaphandra?

I am of the opinion that Aeon definitely knew of the cloning (from introduction) and she probably knew where all rooms were (finding S, swimming through the tunnel to herself waiting). As usual she knows the facts but is not in control of the outcome.

I've been trying to think why this episode bothers me and I think I've got it, Aeon getting wimpy. She lost her edge, I'd like to see her fall in love with Trevor but remain true to herself, this ep comments on how hard that is, especially when there is a physical connection, although men seem to do it better, somehow they never let go of themselves, I kinda wish Aeon kept her self intact. I mean can you imagine if she got the cloning secret and cloned Trevor instead? Although a whole bunch of Trevor's probably would amount to a whole bunch of trouble.
