Canon LC-1 bracket

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon FD : One Thread

I bought a Canon LC-1 remote unit and later pruchased an LC-1 bracket. Now, I can't figure out what the bracket is for or how to use it. I sure could use some help. Thanks, Kirby.

The LC-1 optional bracket is for 8MM movie cameras lacking an accessory shoe. It can also be used to mount the receiver to the side of an SLR. The other end would go between the camera body and the tripod. This leaves the camera's hot shoe available for a flash.

Any ideas where I could pick up a LC-1?
