UNDERSTAND THIS?? ST. PAUL-WHO WROTE MOST OF THE EPISTLES. said of himself>>''in my flesh dwelleth NO GOOD THING'' this is why JESUS said''ye must be born again'' the spirit lusteth against the flesh;we need a new-nature,as long as we live in these corrupt bodies,we will feel the struggle. christians ain,t perfect--just saved[by believing christ]& HIS PROMISES.st.paul said corruption must put on in-corruption. this happens when we die, free at last 'from this body of sin & death. so you see ,dear friends-it,s not about reaching perfection in our present state---it,s about ACCEPTING THE FREE GIFT[JESUS]THE CHRIST. so what,s so bad about good news??

Anita, Thank You for providing your expertise, where I lack. Thank you for your kindness. I just happened today to meet a whole lot of physical folks (Cyberfolks can be Great Too), The Physical-Folks all got together for a Fund Raiser for a 6 yr old boy, born with M.S., definite hard case. Boy cannot hold his head up, his loving Mom partially chews his food before she transfers the nutriments into his mouth, to substain his life. Some may jump up in horror , upon this description. But this procedure was done in olden times, before the pretty canned pureed baby food jar, ever appeared, on a grocery shelf. The Fund Raiser was for Stem Cell Therapy for this 6 yr old boy. He can never be a quote "normal child". The best hope the parents have is the Stem Cell Therapy (which costs big bucks) will enable him to sit up on his own, enable him to feed himself, and enable him to lift his cup when he is thirsty, to his parched lips. They are not asking for 100% recovery. They are only asking for a paper dollars, one from here and there, they can add up. To pay for the Big Hospital/Doctors Fee of a one time shot, which may enable him to have some physical functionality. His name is Ronnie. He does not know how blue is the sky. He is 6 yrs old. He has never taken a step nor ridden a tricycle. His mother chews his food before placing them into his mouth. What a life, for both of them. And I'm bitching about having to go to work tomorrow. Smack me in my face!

"Love"--

I can't say the situation you describe is incorrect but I can say that MS in a child is very rare and I have never heard of someone being born with MS. Possibly you mean MD (Muscular Dystrophy)

So true, Lars.

MS is common among us 30+ year-olds who have inadequate misfiring of our mylin sheaths.

We are NOT cripples, or disabled, we are people who have inordinate physical disabilities that we make up for with our intellect. (God giveth, and God taketh away.) OK, In OUR case, "God" only giveth :0)

Although rare, I 'did' have a best friend die from MS at the age of 25, she left behind 2 little beautiful girls, how i miss her.

She drove her car, blacked out, was life-flighted and then they discovered, she had MS, she had been sick along time, w/heart, had hysterectomy (sp) and other sickness way before MS was discovered.

I got involved in MS fund-raising here in Ohio. Chuck may remember the UGLY BARTENDER CONTEST, ALot of money raised for MS. What a great time we all had.
