Ilfobrom Galerie

I just went to the Ilford web site to look up info on the paper I used to use a long time ago, Ilfobrom Galerie, and I can't find anything. I see that there are plenty of places that are selling it. What am I missing? Why can't I find anything on the Ilford site? Thanks for any info.

I couldn't find anything on the Ilford site either about Gallerie, although I am certain that it is available from Calumet and I use it often. My guess is that they don't want to advertise it internationally since it is not offered in Europe and other countries. Regards, ;^D)

Well, it's Ilford's old bromide emulsion in its latest incarnation, but it is different from the old Galerie that is mentioned by Ansel in his book THE PRINT (1983). I have some notes on various papers I have used on my site at http://unblinkingeye.com/Articles/Paper/paper.html, including the old and new Galerie. The new Galerie is an excellent paper that behaves a lot like Ilford MG FB.

Galerie technical data do appear on Ilford's Web site now.
