Who I am...

...is no one's business.

I have discovered in life that the only way to maintain a secret is to simply share it with no one - which is what I have done.

Hoff made the mistake of revealing his identity to a doomer (some twit, whose alias eludes me just now). I believe his hope was that if the person realised his identity and experience in his specialty, all arguments with his conclusions would cease. And he would have been correct, had he been debating with a rational and normal person, instead of a doomer.

The end of Hoff's story was the doomer twit threatened to "reveal his identity," after telling at least one other doomer who he was. What does one expect from people of such demonstrated flawed character combinations?

Prior to this, I determined to remain anonymous. And I remain so. Those on "my side" of the debate do not know who I am - no one knows except me. A few times, people threatened to "out" Andy Ray - and I snickered, but did not reply. The alias has served and continues to serve me and my intentions well.

Though flattered by the responses to a thread on the topic of my identity, I did not respond - I didn't feel it appropriate. Though I have post-ed under different aliases in the past, I use only Andy Ray presently. I am not Mr. Poole, Mr. Decker, Mr. Flint, nor anyone else; though I am flattered by the comparisons.

Some interesting notes, however: No one correctly surmised the continent of my origin, to say nothing of the nation. And, though I have certainly stated (I believe) on several occassions my occupational attachments to (and fascination with) the debate, no one put it together. But again, we are mostly dealing with doomers and logic here - what does one expect?

Vindicated Regards,
Andy Ray

They are the same. To hazard a guess on the city: Adelaide. But, that fact is not of essential interest.

It aint really a secret Andy. You're sitting in your office without a hell of a lot to do. Hope business picks up. Even Brits have to get busy eventually. Won't be able to drag your chestnuts out next time.
