I know this has absolutely nothing to do with homesteading but I need some advice from you friends! Have any of you ever used Pay Pal for transfering money from one business to the other? They claim to be safe and easy but I've never heard of it before. For those of you that have, what are the pros and cons? Have you ever had any reasons why NOT to use it? Thanks!

I've never seen it, but think I saw a write up on it in "The Naked PC" newsletter that was very positive. I don't have the copy of the newsletter anymore, but here's the URL

Pat, I have used it for ebay purchases and everything went very smoothly and much quicker than my usual paying by moneyorder. I have never had any problems with using them and no extra trash email either. karen

Hi Pat. I've started using PayPal for both sending and receiving payments. It works quite well. The only drawback I've encountered is folks who don't know how to use it (it's really VERY easy). If they set up an account my payments to them will go into that account and sit if they don't figure out how to get the funds out. That's frustrating to both them and me.
