I just posted a reply on the What you failed to mention, and I noticed that a message was sent to Al and to Sacred Places, although I did not notice a post. Do you know what is up? I sure hope no spamming is in progress, care to elaborate?

Is it possible that diane asked to get a response w/out posting, or did i have an oversight?

Interesting. Not only on this thread but every thread I've posted to has the post being sent to the following two address:

How would this be happening since Diane wasn't the originator of the thread? Is there some way that you can turn on e-mail notification for responses to EVERY thread? If so, her mailbox must be shut down by now.

First, since I don't want notification of posts, it would be unlikely anything would be sent to me.

Second, since jess@listbot.com is an anonymous email address, and requires a password to get in, I doubt anyone could notify me of anything. In any case, I never check that address to see.

Third, I'm not computer literate enough to pose as either OTFR or DS. I have just enough computer savvy to wobble around the net and visit with familiy and friends by email.

And as far as my cussing, Bingo 1 is right; I'm somewhat a creative cusser, but not much on this forum. My one Grandpa taught me to cuss at his knee, and a half-brother in the Navy really taught me some neat cussing and songs. I learned in lst grade they were not meant for use at school though.

I still don't understand why anyone gets so excited at the thought of Diane getting a response to postings.

You can subscribe to either a weekly, or daily digest, or individual post notifications.

ANYONE can subscribe.

And, if you happen to know someone's e-mail address, want to trash their mail server, and are particularly loathsome you can subscribe them.

Diane has NOT subscribed for these, they have been subscribed TO her for the SPECIFIC purpose of trashing her mail server(s) and harrassing her, per the cyber-harasser, posted elsewhere.

If you posted on the Old TB2K forum, all of your posts went to a VERY LARGE number of people. As it is now, if you post there even though it's closed, I get a copy of the post since I am still on the list for digests.

Clearly, a number of folks might consider getting lives.
