Inserting someone else's address other than one's own is malicious and considered harrassment by me. Since I have noway of telling if the person selected the yes or no in the notify box, I changed it just in case.

If Liane's email address was editted from a post determined not to be hers, then why was me email address left intact - even after I emailed you to tell you it wasn't from me?

Are we sliding back down the slippery slope skillfully scaled by Ms. Lire at the Hysterium? Should the forum be re-titled to indicate that "doomers are protectively-censored when someone attempt malice upon them and uncensored for the remainder, while pollies are afforded the opposite treatment?" Granted, it would make for a longer forum title, but would it be more accurate than stating this forum is "uncensored?"

I'll edit it out now if that's what you want, but you must make the request via email. Only requests via emails are legitimate to me, since many trolls are good at deceiving with anonymizer IP's, and I can't be expected to memorize everyone's legitimate IP.

I asked if anything could be done about this in my original email request - which you received, unless someone is impersonating you, too. Are some people still getting preferential treatment on Greenspun Y2k fora? Did those people coincidentally happen to agree with your take moreso than mine during the debate? Do you see a pattern here?
