Invar is one of the reasons why I stopped posting at the EZBOARD forum. He's started more than one thread on how folks should engage in a revolution against what he considers the evil government. To be honest, I didn't even read this one beyond the first few sentences. I simply ASSUMED it was more of the same.

Actually, I disagree. Just as with all of INVAR's numerous other reactionary threads, this one's just a lot more talk. Have you ever actually read any of the conversations he's involved in? It goes something like this:

1) INVAR points out that America has gone to HELL and the only way out is through a violent bloody revolution in which many people will die.

2) INVAR is cheered on by the masses

3) Somebody casually points out to INVAR that they should take his message to the public so that the Great Change can take place and Deliver Us from our horrible government.

4) INVAR suddenly claims that it's "too late" for that. Nobody would listen. The government is too corrupt. We're too far gone. The dog ate his homework. He lost the address. He sent the check out yesterday, so he doesn't know WHY you didn't get it yet. Etc. etc. etc.

For every suggestion made by someone to actually DO something about the problem, INVAR responds with yet another lame excuse to sit on his fat ass and predict the bloody revolution in a forum visited by maybe a few hundred people.

Nobody has called him on this and nobody ever will, because they're all as cowardly as he is. For a group of people so dissatisfied with the government and the country in general, they do surprisingly little about it besides bitch on an obscure internet forum.

Let's have a look at what he says about his own latest creation:

LOL, INVAR now compares himself to the signers of the Declaration of Independence! Yes, I can see the similarities. It is a well-known fact that there really was no Revolutionary War. The signers just sat around whining about British Rule until they came up with this Declaration thingy and suddenly CHANGE happened! And what an incredible RISK he's taking to post this "treasonous" document on a forum frequented by a few hundred people! Go INVAR!! LOL.

So, to sum up, I don't think we'll be seeing him on the front page of any papers anytime soon, unless they give out an award for coming up with the most creative ways to use the words "facist dictator scum." I'm not holding my breath.

I was joking, Anita. I'm in a bit of a light-spirited mood this morning. I didn't follow the Sitz thing for long. I got into a HEATED argument with a number of the usual dolts early in the storyline. I backed out of the issue once I calmed down.

I'm having Stan over tomorrow. Perhaps I'll gently broach the subject.

Excellent observations, and so very true. Invar is probably so obsessed with hatred for Clinton because he got away with something he could never do, because he has a wife like Will Continue who would thrash him to a pulp if she caught him fooling around. What I meant when I said we would read about him on the front page was not because of his "brilliant" essay which took him 3 weeks to write, but because he will probably be the next "Taxi Driver" psychopath who tries to kill Clinton.

I have taken on Invar one-on-one several times, and he always changes the subject and resorts to saying things about me that aren't true so that he can get all of his hoodlums to jump in and attack me. They have called me a "nazi-boy" as well as many other things which have absolutely no basis in reality. If anyone behaves like Nazis it is those on Eazy, censoring people who don't agree with their narrow-minded views.

I've taken INVAR on many a time, cin. We have mixed it up plenty. And INVAR never went to aid the Stitz family, all he did was blather about it, as he blathers about everything.

Oddly enough I agree that the Fed is too big and intrusive, but I am willing to do real work to change it, without armed insurrection. I am active in the local Libertarian Party where I live, and spent my free time on April 15th handing out pamphlets at the post office trying to introduce folks to the Libertarain Party. Earth shattering stuff? No, but it is a start, and most likely more than anything INVAR does.

INVAR is just a hot air windbag who enjoys the sound of his own voice.

Carlos, I don't know too many people in their right mind who are "satisfied with the GOV". But what's your alternative? What are you doing to change it? I can't believe you'd line up with those in Protective Custody over at EZB for a minute. I'll bet half of them don't even vote. I've come to learn that those who complain the loudest are usually those who've done the least to change the situation they're complaining about. Yet they sit on their asses and complain, complain, complain about how "evil" the "DOT GOV" is and intimate how many "conspiracies are afoot" and how many of their "freedoms" are being restricted and "OH MY GAWD!!!!!! WE'RE BEING MONITORED!!!!!". Oh, woe is me!!!

All talk, all bark, no action, no bite. Not once do you ever hear any "responsibility" being discussed in the same sentence as "freedom". I think that alone speaks volumes about how some of them want everything for nothing. Funny how some of them claim that's exactly what they're fighting, yet it's really no different. It would seem they haven't quite grasped the concept that With Freedom Comes Responsibility.

You have to wonder why people who live in the richest country on earth, with the most "freedoms per square inch", who are the least taxed, paying the least amount for gasoline so they can all drive their Precious Cars are the ones who do nothing but bitch about it. No wonder we're labeled The Ugly Americans. Spoiled Brats is more accurate.

Me? I vote, I petition, I speak out when and where I can. Do I make a dent? Probably not, or to be more specific, not that I can see a tangible or immediate result. Is it a losing battle? Probably. Heh, it's probably an Exercise in Futility. BFD. Doesn't stop me from trying. I actually did make a difference once back in NYC a few years ago, so I know it can happen.

Frankly, I'd rather have this GOV than most of the alternatives out there.

No, Invars, I think you're on LSD because you think that you and only you, know the ONE, TRUE INTERPRETATION OF THE BIBLE.

On the other hand, you may think that I am on LSD, because I'm writing to you on a forum you don't visit (I don't think), and which I hope you continue to shun.

I hope we aren't encouraging him to give up TB2000 and to come here instead. But it could happen. Even the TB200 folks must know by now that Invars' prediction of all us heathens, and non doomers burning in hell, after getting raped and robbed by our more prepared neighbors, is going to be a big disappointment to him.

Cin, I've tried to take him on one on one; I've even started anti Invar posts. But the best I could get out of him, when I felt I'd outgunned him logically, was to have him say something like "I don't give a flying fuck what you think", and then he would merely "slam the door".

I, too, am pretty frustrated by this gov. But what are we doing about it? Not much, I would say. And worse, most of us are standing idly by while the WTO (World Take Over) rapidly removes any freedoms we have left.

cin, if you'd ever been on the receiving end of Invar the Idiot's poison tongue, you might feel differently. I had a one-on-one with Invar once and he is the meanest person I've ever met. Speaking of chicken-shits, that's what he is. If he can't squelch you by name calling, he says, "Fuck you," and rides off into the sunset. So take off your halo. BTW, he can't be made meaner.

He has treated anyone who disagrees with him like dirt. He's mean, and doesn't have the mental capacity to carry on a lucid argument, let alone a discussion. Ask Flint, Unc, Hawk, Jumpoff Joe and others whom he has never been able to get the best of.

I certainly don't think our government is motivated by altrusim towards the public it has sworn to protect, but for someone like INVAR to want to incite a revolution is like a maniac wanting to be in charge of the Pentagon. This government, with all its flaws, still gets an "A" compared to most I could mention.

cin, how is this a "fight"? He is more than welcome (in a manner of speaking) to post here and refute and/or debate anything that's been said here and anywhere else on this forum. But you know as well as anyone that he's above all that; he's a legend in his own mind. He does this for the "adulation" as is witnessed by the fact that it appears he has never once followed through on his "big talk"; always coming up with some lame excuse as noted by others above.

These people have a right to voice their opinions (as do you) but many of them aren't allowed to post those opinions on EZB because they've been banned. The ones that haven't been banned, well, why even waste one's time trying to "debate" someone like that? I've seen him go at it with a number of posters (not me) and I'm amazed at the arrogance and downright nastiness. He thinks nothing of telling someone to fuck off when they've had the better of him, and in the very next paragraph claims to be a Christian of the highest order. Hypocrite is more like it. Coward might apply here as well. Anyone can be a Star on the Internet.

Besides, when you think about it, do you think he really gives a rat's ass what anyone on this forum thinks? I doubt it.
