Matt, were you able to confirm these injuries? I know Digger and Psaledas went for a ride and I saw 187 just totally plant his front wheel in the soft deep dirt off the tabletop right after the whoops. He went down HARD and was OUT. I'll see what I can find out about Digger and Psaledas. I don't know 187.

The guy who went over the bars on the table top was sitting up. They put a leg brace on him. I know a broken leg isnt a very nice thing but its better then a busted back! Either this is good news cuz its the same guy or its bad news cuz i just added a broken leg to the 4 broken backs. Im sure we all hope everyone heals up quickly so they can back out there!

On a second note, i saw a some foolish injuries during practice. What i saw was people racing full out instead of warming up or checking out the track. If the experts are smart enough to take it a bit easier during practice, mabey we should do the same!

Ambulance rides = last place and no points!!

#817y, BC Atwood, 125B youth, dislocated his shoulder and broke the scapula. He will be out about four weeks. He is doing well.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

Digger is okay. Psaledas landed on him and his injuries are more severe. Won't post details until I can confirm them.

Mike Psaledas #89 30+A was transferred to another hospital today. L9 is crushed and it is still uncleared if his spinal column is partially or totally severed. He's at one of the best possible facilities and the extent of his injuries are being re-evaluated and surgery will be done if appropriate. Say prayers for Mike and his family. Ya know the kind of guy Mike is... Mike landed on his friend, Digger. Mike's in the hospital in severe condition and had his sister call Digger to say he was "sorry man". Even if you're not the praying type... say one for Mike.

I saw one of the four guys go down and it looked pretty serious. The Central Village First Aid Squad was there in excellent time and really seem to do a thorough job with him. I hope that your they all make a speedy recovery. Another congratualions to the Central Village Medical staff.
