I wouldn't say you could get "un-born", but would view being born again as getting a new start - becoming grace-full and sin-less if you will. To me this does NOT preclude one from turning your back on God at a later date.

I'd say that God is NEVER an Indian-giver. The door's always open, but it's up to us to WANT to walk through it. Not just on one day of being "born again", but every day. (Knowing of course that there are some days when I'd get closer to the door than others :-) )

What do you mean by "religion stinks". If you are talking about big-business, corporate religion a la Roman Catholicism or NCC then I agree. If you are talking about a small group of believers who gather together in His name then I don't agree.

I'm glad to hear that God loves people who are bad at spelling and punctuation. However, God won't love you any less if you learn a few fundamentals. I'm sure that you must know the difference between a comma and an apostrophe yet you continue to use them incorrectly. How about the space bar - is this too difficult also? Is this something that you want to do? Why do you want to make you posts difficult to read?

I'd disagree with the "not about church membership" bit if you mean "the absence of *community*". Many of the real whacko interpretations of Christianity (broad generalization alert :-) )came from individuals or small groups of people who isolated themselves and came up with their own unique (and incorrect IMHO) interpretations of things.
