I have one of these and there's not much to know. You might contact Canon to see if they have manuals available...but it may not be worth the expense since they're so simple. I have a manual. If you have some specific questions perhaps I could provide some answers. Essentially you can switch from first to second curtain sync and it will adjust atomatically for changes in lens focal length from 28mm through 70mm. If you have a dedicated EOS camera, just turn it on and it will operate in a TTL mode. It will not operate accurately on a non-EOS camera. There is no manual mode, no fill exposure compensation, and no auto (non-TTL) mode. It can be used off camera with a Canon off camera shoe cord 2. With this cord you can do ceiling bounce and side wall flash bounce by holding it in your hand. It is basically a no-thinking, accurate flash, with good power output that I use frequently on an EOS 650 for outdoor fill and indoor flash when I don't need a bigger, heavier unit. To my understanding it will work on any EOS camera.
